Treasure Coast Restaurants on the Water
Nineteen places to eat with a view of a river, an inlet, the lagoon or the ocean, plus a few in town.
Treasure Coast restaurants on the water are not hard to find, since nearly every town faces a river, the lagoon or the ocean. The trick is choosing the right water for the meal: river and marina restaurants in Stuart and Port Salerno for sunset dinners and boat-watching, oceanfront rooms on Hutchinson Island for breakfast with the surf, and inlet fish houses in Fort Pierce for whatever came in on the boats that day.
Every restaurant below is different from those in our county guides, so use both lists. Many waterfront places have docks for boaters; call ahead about space and depth. Winter weekends are busy everywhere, so reserve for dinner.

A restaurant at Sunset Bay Marina, open since 2009, with tables overlooking the boats.
A dockside seafood grill on the Manatee Pocket in the building that once housed the Twisted Tuna.
Jensen Beach and Hutchinson Island
Ocean views, the lagoon and a fish market.
The oceanfront restaurant at Hutchinson Shores Resort, with tables looking straight out to sea.
A restaurant on the Indian River at Nettles Island; it closes for part of the off-season, so check before you go.
A fish market with a restaurant attached, for buying the catch to cook or eating it there.
A Mediterranean restaurant in Jensen Beach for tapas-style plates and wine.
A local seafood-and-sports-bar chain with three Treasure Coast locations.

A beachfront grill in Jaycee Park, right on the sand, for breakfast or lunch.
Coffee by day and a wine bar with live music in the evening.
Restaurants change hours, menus and ownership often — check with the restaurant before you go. Listings are editorial picks, not paid placements.
